Adel Y. Alghanim

Adel Alghanim serves as Group Chairman of the Alghanim Sons Group. Mr. Alghanim built the Alghanim Sons Group from the ground up to what is today one of the region's leading diversified family conglomerates.
Mr. Alghanim entered the business world in the late 1970's. As a forward thinker, he capitalized on the Kuwait economical growth boom of the late 70's and the 80's in pioneering strategic industries such as the construction materials industry and the telecommunications industry as one of the original founders of Kuwait's mobile telecommunications company (known today as Zain).
Adel Alghanim holds a bachelors degree in micro biology from Kuwait University.
